Nxt Events Hire – Terms & Conditions – ABN 40 981 963 469
Please carefully read our Hire Terms & Conditions below. If you have any concerns, these must be discussed with us prior to placing an order.
- A minimum hire value of $200 (excluding GST) is required for all orders (delivery fees not included), and $100 + GST for self-pickups. All quotes are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
- To confirm a booking, a 50% deposit (excluding bond) must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date. The remaining balance must be settled 15 days prior to the event. Cancellations made by the client will result in the forfeiture of all deposits, regardless of the reason.
- If the event is canceled by Nxt Events Hire due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided to the customer.
- A refundable bond of $100 must be paid with all hire orders. Orders over $300 or those that involve long-distance hire (over 60km) will incur a $200 bond.
- Payments can be made via EFT (bank transfer) or credit card and must be completed at least 15 business days prior to the hire date.
- For DIY pickups, a valid driver’s license with the current address must be presented.
- Changes to the event location will incur additional charges. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any location changes.
- We reserve the right to cancel any order if conditions are deemed unsafe due to weather or if the venue is unsuitable.
- Nxt Events Hire is not responsible for any licenses or parking fees required for venue or outdoor setups. These fees must be covered by the customer.
- All equipment hired for DIY must be returned in its original condition and packaging. Glassware must be returned clean and dry, and wax must be removed. Failure to do so will result in a loss of bond. Additional charges may apply if the bond is not enough to cover repair or replacement costs.
- All hired items must be returned by the due date specified on the invoice unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon. Late returns will incur a daily hire fee.
- In the event of any damage during the hire period, the customer is responsible for paying the full replacement cost of the item.
- Nxt Events Hire is not liable for any loss or damages resulting from overloading, exceeding rated capacity, misuse, or abuse of the equipment by the customer.
- The customer is responsible for any fees related to debt recovery if damaged or lost items are not paid for within 14 days of the invoice being issued.
- To the extent permitted by law, the customer assumes all responsibility and risk associated with the use of chairs, tables, marquees, or any other equipment hired from the company. All items are provided ‘as is’ without warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind. The company, its employees, agents, and representatives will not be liable for any issues arising from the use of the equipment.
- By confirming a quote via email or making a deposit payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
